Data Collection Methodology

The ALTA LAR 100 compiles financial data from primary regulatory sources across Latin America including central bank portals, financial supervisory agencies, and company filings. Portfolio figures represent outstanding lease receivables at year-end. Volume represents estimated new business originated during the year. All figures are converted to USD using year-end central bank exchange rates. Rankings are based on portfolio size at year-end 2024; where 2024 data was unavailable, the most recent reported figure was used.
